Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity involves working as a Special
Education Teacher for middle school students, specifically 7th and
8th graders, in an emotional support classroom setting. The
position is based in Columbia, PA, within a K-12 school district
and is a contract role for the current school year (CSY).
Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized
education plans (IEPs) for a caseload of 13 students, providing
tailored instructional support and assistance to meet the emotional
and educational needs of middle schoolers, collaborating with
fellow educators and staff members, and maintaining accurate
records and progress reports. Qualifications: - Hold valid
Pennsylvania certification in Special Education - Experience
working with middle school age group preferred - Ability to manage
and support students in an emotional support classroom - Strong
communication and collaboration skills Job Details: - Location:
Columbia, PA - Hours: 7:30 AM 3:10 PM, Monday through Friday -
Caseload: 13 middle school students (7th and 8th grade) - Contract
