Job Description:

Olgoonik, a leader in both government and commercial sectors since 1973, is seeking a seasoned Project Director to oversee large-scale construction projects. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality construction services, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. As a Project Director, you will collaborate with diverse teams, leveraging your expertise to manage complex construction initiatives. You will lead project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring all contractual commitments are met while upholding Olgoonik's values of integrity and excellence. Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases. Balance the competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risks. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, government entities, subcontractors, and project teams to facilitate project execution without disruptions. Review work progress on a daily basis and adjust as needed to ensure project milestones are achieved. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, ensuring regular and transparent communication across all project stages. Plan, design, and oversee the construction phase of projects, enacting strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning. Ensure the adherence to legal, environmental, and health and safety regulations. Proven leadership and management skills in construction project management. Strong understanding of modern construction technology and methodologies. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in project management software and tools like Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or similar. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred. Certification in LEED, or other related industry certifications.
