Description As the Lead Estimator / Preconstruction Manager , you will guide the estimating department, set best practices, and work directly with leadership to ensure precise and competitive proposals across all phases of preconstruction. You'll manage a team of three estimators and collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients on high-impact projects from concept through bid. Responsibilities include: Lead all preconstruction activities including take-offs, cost estimation, and value engineering Create and manage project budgets, bid strategies, and preliminary schedules Mentor and manage a team of 3 estimators Collaborate with project management to ensure seamless project handoff Review architectural and MEP drawings to ensure accuracy in estimates Lead subcontractor outreach and competitive bid analysis Interface directly with clients, design teams, and trade partners Profile We're looking for a seasoned estimator with strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for setting a high standard. You should be able to hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced environment where quality and speed matter.
