Communications

Position Description
The position will report to the VP of Strategic Business
Initiatives and provide direct support for the Director of
FedRooms. Externally, the position will work with third party
companies such as video production agencies, media placement
services and print/premium suppliers.
The position will also work directly with clients, coordinate with
internal advertising teams, and serve as a point of contact for
D&G for internal IT teams, back-end developers, CWT marketing
needs and more.
* Position responsibilities include management of a variety of
external marketing and communication vehicles, including:
* Website management of CWTSatoTravel.com and FedRooms.com via
Adobe Experience Manager CMS
* Brand management and messaging alignment
* Advertising management and coordination with internal CWT team
representatives, including media kit development and yearly
analysis
* Development of creative collateral such as brochures, ads,
presentations, trade show booth content/logistics and giveaways
* Planning, writing, editing and distribution of a quarterly
newsletter to a traveler audience
* Coordination of social media strategy and content calendars
* Support for federal government hotel programs' Marketing and
Communications efforts, including:
* Management and tracking of yearly budgets, with suggestions of
where and how to use budgets to client
* Design and brand management
* Developing content, writing and distributing quarterly
newsletters
* Gathering of marketing analytics for review of key strategies
* Development of yearly marketing and communications plans and
tracking
* Collateral and ad designs as needed
* Presentation of marketing and communications updates to
client
* Social media management
* Position responsibilities for internal communications
include:
* Brand management of internal templates, charts and collateral
* Drafting, compiling and distributing monthly internal newsletters
to D&G employees worldwide
* Overseeing the drafting, editing and sending of internal
announcements
* Coordinating content with CWTSatoTravel President and Leadership
Team for regular Town Hall and other internal meeting updates

Position Requirements
* Knowledge and Skill Required:
* Bachelor's degree preferably in marketing and/or
communications
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in communications or related
position
* Demonstrated leadership and time-management skills
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
* Experience in marketing, communications, printing and project
management
* Experience with the following programs:
* Adobe Creative Suite (Specifically InDesign and Photoshop)
* Adobe Experience Manager CMS
* Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Smarp)
* Eloqua (or similar email distribution platform)
* Microsoft Publisher
* Strong PC skills required
* Judgment Required
* Position will have contact with senior executives, key
CWTSatoTravel clients and vendors and therefore must have the
presence and maturity to represent the company in a professional,
consistent manner. Incumbent must have the breadth and depth of
experience to evaluate the skills and services of a variety of
outside vendors.
* Supervision of Others
* Position may include supervision of others.
* As part of our hiring process, we conduct background checks on
potential new hires. Because this work would be with our Federal
Government Client, you may be subject to government background
investigation including a credit check.
Because this position is directly with our Federal Government
client, the government requires that the successful candidate be a
US Citizen. Authorization to work in the US is not sufficient for
this position. Additionally, you will be subject to a company and
government background investigation including a criminal history
review.
