Security team uses advanced technology and analytics tools to
reduce shortages and protect our bottom line. As an Asset
Protection Detective, you will have the opportunity to receive
expert training and develop your skills in this role. You will
create and foster relationships with store teams and law
enforcement agencies. Our goal is to protect company assets while
maintaining a safe, customer-centric shopping environment. \n
Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more
hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled
12-24 hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and

offerings here. \n What You Will Do \n \n Use surveillance
techniques to help identify and apprehend individuals who shoplift
and dishonest employees \n Understand and leverage de-escalation
tools in order to provide a safe and secure environment for our
customers and colleagues \n Recover stolen merchandise \n Research
and provide statements and evidence to support investigations \n
Prepare reports on theft incidents, investigations, and audits \n
Maintain strict compliance with the law and company policies
regarding apprehensions, searches, and evidence preservation \n
Build and maintain partnerships with store colleagues, as well as
outside groups, such as law enforcement \n Testify in court for
criminal and civil cases \n Train colleagues on protocols to help
protect company assets \n Respond to alarm conditions and work on
special assignments \n Facilitate first aid for customers and
colleagues \n Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that
strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with
colleagues, customers, and communities \n \n Who You Are \n \n
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and
holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality \n A
resourceful self-starter who can adapt quickly to changing
priorities \n Ability to communicate and share information with

licenses, trainings, and certifications \n For jobs in New York, a
current New York State Security Guard License is required \n High
School Diploma or equivalent \n \n Essential Physical Requirements
You Will Perform \n \n Walking, standing for extended periods;
bursts of quick movement \n Apprehension of subjects in accordance
with company policy \n Requires hearing, close vision, color
vision, and ability to adjust focus \n Occasional stooping,
kneeling, crouching, and reaching above eye level \n Ability to
spend long periods of time in enclosed areas \n Lifting and moving
