Job Description:
Overview LMI seeks a Senior Financial Analyst for upcoming work
supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy
in Arlington, VA. This position requires an active TS clearance.LMI

Support all financial activity: Planning, Programming, Budget, and
Execution (PPBE), POM, FYDP, year of execution planning. Assist and
advise government leadership on execution, performance, forecasting
and all aspects of financial management. Track expenditures,
initiate MIPRs, forecast executions, and associated FM duties as
directed by the client. Provide financial reporting to facilitate
executive-level decision making. Facilitate the movement of funds
to ensure projects meet cost, schedule and performance
requirements. Cross-functional collaboration to promote
organization and project success. Assist the government with
developing financial tracking systems for expenditures. Review and
analyze business processes for efficiencies and suggest ways to
decrease wastage. Draft reports and create data visualizations of
financial and budget information for use in presentations for
leadership. Ability to communicate with Senior DoD officials.
Manage multiple assignments from multiple people in busy work
environment. Attend and participate in meetings, take meeting
notes, record taskers and actions, and update the staff when
necessary. Qualifications Required A minimum of fifteen (15) years
of experience in resource management, including budget formulation,
justification, and execution in a U.S. Government agency. A minimum
of five (5) years of supervisory experience in a U.S. Government
agency in a resource management environment. A bachelor's degree.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Prior experience providing financial support to senior DoD
leadership. Excellent organizational skills, ability to establish
and maintain working relationships with internal and external staff
members, and the ability to work independently and take a proactive
role. Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks according to
senior staff requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,
Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. A true team player who
maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment. High
energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to interact effectively with
senior executives from Government/Industry as well as DoD staff.
Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able
to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting
priorities. Active TS clearance. Preferred Master's Degree in
finance, budgeting, or other related financial management field.
Membership in Defense Acquisition Corps (or its predecessor
organizations), Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act
(DAWIA) certification, or DoD Financial Management certification.
Expertise using DoD financial activity systems, e.g., Defense
Agencies Initiative (DAI), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense
Comptroller exhibits. OSD Experience at the Under Secretary
level.
