Job Description:
DescriptionLIA is seeking a Pricing/Financial Analyst to
increase our company's business competitiveness and profitability
by producing competitive pricing volumes for proposals, and by
tracking operational cost efficiencies. The Pricing/Financial
Analyst shall develop and implement the company's accounting
activities, including the development of FAR-based pricing for
proposals. The Pricing/Financial Analyst must identify
discrepancies with invoices, contracts, and/or any other
agreements.Bonus:This position offers a $3,500 signing

ProgramMajor responsibilitiesProvide Business Development workload
share between LIA 80% and Trusted Technology 20%.Lead LIA's
accounting and finance functions in support of the company's
growth.Manage the government accounting and billing processes to
ensure consistency with proposed contract pricing in accordance
with FAR and CAS requirements.Prepare and present pricing analysis
findings to higher leadership and Business Development team.Create,
develop, and present Master Build-up Pricing to higher leadership
in a timely and effective manner.Participate in contract
negotiations by providing forecasted indirect rates and project
profitability and supporting the business development team's
understanding of costs of contract deliverables, bid risk, and
ensuring pricing that is complete and accurate, as well as in
accordance with FAR and CAS requirements.Monitoring and maintaining
the accounting system in compliance with DCAA requirements.Support
leadership by creating, managing, and developing monthly
financial/contract reports such as budget, cost saving, project
margin targets, and project profitability forecasts, including
balance sheet and cash flow analysis.Initiate & manage project
setup and maintenance (includes project numbers, billing, revenue,
ceilings, labor categories, workforce, charge code etc.)Collaborate
with different departments within the company to successfully
create a Pwin.Collaborate with the company's bookkeeper to review,
reconcile, upload, and process invoices on a daily or weekly basis,
communicating any discrepancies.Process and review payroll on a
semi-monthly basis.Assist with preparation of government contract
billing in accordance with contract terms and conditions and in
compliance with applicable rules and regulations and submission of
invoices into various Government Software Platforms (ASSIST, IPP,
WAWF).Monitor, submit, and review payment status in WAWF (PIEE)
submitted by the company.Monitor contract funding status
monthly.Develop and execute internal and external project reviews
and monitor contract funding status and communicate findings to
management.Prepare final rate reconciliations and true-up
billings.Manage DCMA/DCAA compliance, including Indirect Rate
development, and respond to financial information requests such as
Prime Contractor requests, DCAA audits.Prepare filings with DCAA as
required, such as Incurred Cost Submission (ICE), and provisional
rate submissions.Plan, direct, coordinate, and review accounting
activities, bookkeeping, and month-end and year-end accounting
close to ensure accurate and compliant accounting with government
cost accounting requirements.Provide accounting and financial
information in support of the annual financial statement review by
the independent CPA firm and tax returns.Develop and maintain
tracking and reporting mechanisms used to provide continuous
supervision of costs and schedules.Complete financial audits as
required.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting with 8+
years of relevant experience.Experienced and knowledgeable in GAAP,
financial statement preparation and analysis, government contract
accounting and analysis, QuickBooks, government billing platforms,
and working knowledge of DCAA cost accounting and billing
requirements, Incurred Cost Submissions (ICE), and maintaining an
effective internal control environment.Knowledgeable in key
components of FAR, and supplements to FAR, regarding the sale of
products paid for by the U.S. Government.Prior Financial Analysis
support for Federal Government contracts.Strong Knowledge of direct
and indirect rates.Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
Suite.Strong multitasking capabilities.Excellent negotiation and
problem-solving skills.Effective reporting and presentation
skills.Enthusiastic and Proactive Team Player.Strong analytical,
organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication
skills.Ability to work independently and foster a collaborative
team environment.
