Role and ResponsibilitiesSummaryApply knowledge of general business and accounting principles to operational projects and programs. Support the program management organization with program financial analysis. Able to withstand rigorous audit by customers and/or various Government agencies.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Manage all financial aspects of GATA to include pricing proposals, invoicing, payroll, reconciliations, forecasting, cash flow analysis, audits and compliance.Develop cost proposals and cost narratives (if required) in response to ATA TOR.Prepare post award Independent Contractor (IC) Agreement Schedule A's and, subsequently, monitor task execution and profitability.Review and recommend updates to company policies and procedures for division as related to contract management and execution.Develop metrics and tracking models to quantify division performanceReviews Subcontractor Purchase OrdersPrepare and supervise financial reportsWork with Subcontractor financial representativesWork with ATA-designated contract and financial representativesLiaison with Accounting office regarding cost incurred, General Ledger, billingReview invoices for compliance with contract terms and governmental allow abilityReconcile General Ledger costs incurred with billings and reportingMonthly reporting for contractsResponsible for ad-hoc reporting for customer, contract, VP and corporateProvide guidance on policy/practice for resources and contractsFacilitate accounting and reporting for division and local managementKnowledge of Government contract accounting rules and regulations.Able to effectively communicate with estimators, supervisors, managers, and directors of all functions. Working knowledge of the data processing, accounting, contracting, purchasing, project management, engineering and manufacturing functions.Interacts with Government agenciesAssists in preparation for audits.Prepares regular and ad hoc financial reports.Support program and operations managers with program financial analysisQualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting and/or equivalent related experienceMinimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience including experience in government program financeKnowledge of standard accounting softwareWork with minimal supervisionStrong information system and PC skillsProficiency with MS SuiteCost-Type contract accounting experience is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred SkillsMBA/CPA/CMA preferredSecurity ResponsibilitiesMust comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources. Incumbent must be eligible for DOS and DoD Personal Security Clearance.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment.
