Department Profile Global Banking Technology (GBT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm's WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans and tailored lending. Position Description The Core Banking Middle Office team is seeking a Vice president level Agile Leader to manage the delivery of the E*Trade/Morgan Stanley Banking Middle Office portfolio within Global Banking Operations & Technology. The candidate will support multiple squads executing on a multi-year strategy to build out Banking Middle Office capabilities for Morgan Stanley?s Wealth Management clients. The candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology to guide teams towards successful outcomes. Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities * Partner with stakeholders to define, align and prioritize portfolio level roadmaps for Agile delivery * Lead business reporting activities related to Core Banking Systems * Foster collaboration with Business product managers, engineers, quality assurance to explore, prioritize, and launch solutions * Work with the development team to ensure that product requirements are understood and built accordingly * Interact with Project Management Office to develop project plans to achieve key business objectives. * Ensure that user story content and prioritization is aligned to the larger strategic objective * Coach team members on Agile methodologies using industry and Morgan Stanley identified best practices. * Identify and remove impediments and working with teams across the organization to track dependencies * Facilitate forums with stakeholders to keep teams abreast of progress, issues and risks * Track and monitor financials to stay within program budgets * Retain overall accountability for the delivery, quality, and growth of the Core Banking technology portfolio * Manage team technology pipeline and new demand including pipeline reviews with individual Managers.Skills Required**7 years of experience within a large complex banking organization or major consulting organization.**5 years Hands on experience leading teams using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.**3 Years of Technical background in integration, development, testing, and/or infrastructure.**Experience managing department financial performance**5 years experience performing relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications.**Ability to develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents; including identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path.**Experience estimating resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.**Ability to proactively manage change in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingencies.**Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.**Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment**Quick learner capable of understanding and implementing front-to-back solutions and performing in-depth analysis as required to resolve issues.Skills Desired:**Knowledge of Financial market, lending based products and Wealth Management**Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environmentEducational Qualification:**Minimum BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or a related field. **Job:** **Project and Program Management* **Title:** *Program Manager- Core Banking Middle Office * **Location:** *Virginia-Arlington* **Requisition ID:** *3210259*
