Job Description:
Our client, based in Northern VA,
is currently seeking a Master Data Scheduler.
Position will be onsite 5 days/week so local candidates
preferred.
May be open to renter that can relocate easily.SAP working
knowledge; CPG food manufacturing a strong plus (but not a
must).--- This role will have the central responsibility to manage
all master data, SAP, and OEC Fusion to ensure data entered
correctly and conforms to SK standards for system functionality.
--- Scope includes the updates within SAP supporting Operations,
Bills of Material, Routings, components, discontinued items,
warehouses, customer master, customer item specifications, customer
pricing, R&D process memo's, NOP tracking documents, and any
other document related functionality.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES -
--- Manage all SAP master data that impacts plants, co-packers,
customer, pricing and materials. --- Responsible for the
qualification, data analysis, data accuracy and change control -
Favorably impacts business process and reporting efficiency and
efficacy. --- Responsible for qualification and classification of
data ensuring that all information is accurate and complete. ---
Perform on-going maintenance of records and communications, offer
recommendations to enhance workflow and increase efficiency. ---
Maintain accurate, up-to-date master data for assigned business
processes, ensures timely updates, eliminates duplicate/obsolete
data.
--- Act as the SME for all GTIN and data synchronization
information to be shared with customers, internal sales, and
marketing organizations. --- Work with Customer specific files to
ensure GTIN accuracy (Global Synchronization standards), manage
customer data for 100% accuracy and troubleshoot pending issues.
--- Act as primary approver for UPC data confirmation to artwork
vendor to ensure compliance. --- Manage NOP process to ensure
timely recording of information and flow of work items. --- Final
approver on all GTIN regulation conformance changes.
--- Knowledge of changing industry standards.
Keep team apprised of any changes on a regular
basis.KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES---- 5 years in a position
of similar complexity, scope and size --- BS/BA with strong
quantitative/analytical curriculum (e.g. finance, accounting,
statistics) preferred--- Assumes responsibility for new projects
that enhance cross-functional supply chain results --- Self Starter
to drive results and measure improvements --- Displays a
willingness to help out during critical situations in any
functional area --- Able to adapt to new supply chain processes and
procedures with enthusiasm --- Able to process large amounts of
data and make actionable recommendations --- Has consistent,
pro-active communication with headquarter personnel for alignment
of targets, goals and events with strong sense of ownership and
closure of open issues --- Views entire business supply cycle and
is proactive in learning from past results to implement improved
supply processes --- Keeps detailed records & activities related to
the accomplished objectives --- Prior SAP knowledge of material
